Privacy Policy

Feats is built to be calm and private. Your feats live on your device. We collect as little as possible, never sell your data, and don't require an account.

The short version

• No account. You can use Feats without signing up or giving us your name or email.
• Your feats stay on your device by default, in local storage on your phone.
• iCloud sync is optional and goes only to your own private iCloud account - we can't see it.
• We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the app is used, never to identify you.
• We never sell or share your data for advertising.

Information we process

Your feats and settings

The tasks ("feats"), tags, reminders, trophies, and preferences you create are stored locally on your device. We do not have a server that receives or stores this content.

Optional iCloud sync (Feats Plus)

If you turn on iCloud sync, a snapshot of your feats is stored in your own private iCloud account so it can appear on your other devices. This is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. Sorcel Tech cannot read this data. Turning sync off stops new snapshots from being written.

Subscriptions

Feats Plus is sold as an in-app subscription through the Apple App Store. Purchases are processed by Apple; we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage and validate subscription status. RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous app-generated identifier and your purchase information so it can tell the app whether Plus is active. It does not receive your name, email, or feat content.

Usage analytics

To understand which features help and where the app can improve, we use Amplitude to record anonymous, aggregate usage events - for example, that a feat was added or a screen was viewed. These events are tied to a random, app-generated identifier, not to your identity, and never include the text of your feats. We also attach coarse properties such as your app language and whether you subscribe to Plus, to help us read the numbers.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. We do not operate a push server and do not collect your device push token.

Diagnostics

Apple may provide us with anonymized crash and performance diagnostics if you've opted into sharing them in your device settings. This is controlled by you in iOS, not by Feats.

How we use information

• To make the app work - store your feats, sync them when you ask, and unlock Plus features.
• To understand usage in aggregate so we can improve Feats.
• To respond to you if you contact support.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or sale.

Data retention & deletion

Because your feats live on your device, deleting the app removes them. You can also clear your data from within the app. To remove an iCloud snapshot, turn off sync and delete the Feats data from your iCloud storage in your device's settings. Analytics events are retained by our analytics provider for a limited period and cannot be linked back to you.

Your choices

• Use the app fully offline by leaving iCloud sync off.
• Export your feats at any time from Settings.
• Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID settings.
• Control notifications and diagnostics in your device settings.

Children

Feats is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above and, for significant changes, note it in the app.
